PETALING JAYA: Kejadian banjir luar biasa yang melanda Lembah Klang dan beberapa negeri sekitarnya terutama Negeri Sembilan dan Melaka menyebabkan ribuan mangsa terkandas dan rumah ditenggelami air.
Shah Alam boleh dikatakan lumpuh sepenuhnya dengan semua laluan yang menghubungkan bandar raya itu terputus.
Keadaan Sungai Melaka yang dipenuhi air menyebabkan operasi bot Melaka River Cruise dihentikan sementara waktu berikutan paras air Sungai Melaka yang terlalu tinggi akibat air pasang besar berlaku serta hujan lebat awal pagi tadi. Penghentian operasi itu dilakukan buat sementara waktu sementara menunggu keadaan pulih. Berikutan paras air yang tinggi, pintu baraj Sungai Melaka akan dibuka 100 peratus bagi mengeluarkan air sungai ke laut. Gambar RASUL AZLI SAMAD
